The Making of Jurassic Coast

With 5 weeks to go to my 'A Sense of Place' exhibition to be held at Tetbury Goods Shed, Tetbury, Gloucestershire, England (25 September – 3 November), I share the creation of the collage Jurassic Coast on a 50 x 25 cm (20 x 10 inch) stretched canvas for the exhibition. For those that don’t know the Jurassic Coast is a World Heritage Site which covers 160 km (100 miles) of the coastline of southern England. It stretches from Devon to Dorset, and has yielded a wealth of fossil evidence being the only place on Earth where rocks from the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous Periods can be seen in one place.
